Matt 10:34? Jesus knew His Spiritual kingdom would cause people to fight- to take thousands of years of customs and rituals and tell them to FOCUS on a specific concept of personal COMMUNIION with God and dont' just go through the motions of a ritual... that will cause families to fight and rent them in pieces.
Smae with the Catholic church... rituals are important but when you LEAVE the purpose of the rituals and focus on the action- THAT's what God would NEVER want... rituals without true communion.
An semi related thought- read Luke 22:35-38.
Jesus told his disciples it was going to be rough. He asked them if God had provided for them thus far, their clothes, food. They acknowledged He did. THEN JEsus told them it would be good if they SOLD their clothes and bought a sword with the money.
They said "we have 2 swords". Jesus said.... "It is enough".
2 swords.... why were TWO swords enough- against the angry group of priests and SOLDIERS??
Obviously Peter used one in cutting off the servant's ear (Which Jesus healed told Peter, "suffer me thus far" "you've gone with me this far, have patience.")
Jesus planned to make a point...
I wonder-- WHO had the other sword? WHY didn't they USE it? I think it is possible, Jesus had it- HE was the Leader of them. Peter was second 'in command". Peter failed and responded in violence. Jesus did NOT fight. He held down the second weapon. He chose to submit. THAT was "meekness". Meekness is submitting of POWER you may have.
Satan can kill the flesh, but not the spirit. Jesus tried to teach the Jews that. His kingdom was in the SPIRIT. His message was from God the Father-- that would give strength, not in external sense, but in the ETERNAL sense. Not to mention, if a person has HOPE; if a person has love; if a person has truth in their heart and mind, they can move mountians. They can tackle things in an humanly unexplicable way. Kingdom of peace- of the Spirit.
What would YOU choose?? Political peace of peace of spirit??
WHAT kind of "peace" is God about??? (only) Political?? PLEASE!!!! HE would GIVE HIS "Chosen People" something FAR GREATER !!! SPIRITUAL PEACE. Can you HEAR this?? Your GOD, wants you to have PEACE that can carry you through wars, pestilence, death, every trial that you have. Pass THAT inheritance and custom down to your children.
In MY experience as a mother, I want to give MY children something far greater than SIMPLY a blessing of coin, possessions, lands -- I want them to have PEACE, joy, love, faith, hope, truth. GOD IS ALL THOSE THINGS. He desires for us to HAVE those things. THAT's what HIS KINGDOM is all about. That's what Jesus lived and directed us towards.
Have you lost your faith? DID the Roman's STEAL the faith of the JHVH God from you?? I don't think so. JHVH STILL reigns-- despite Satan's thwarts and attacks Faith in God lives.

The Holy Trinity of God
"I will take God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit as they are three in one".
Translation: God is not divided by three. Educated people call this mythology, but you won't find this truth in the New Testament. God is not "three separate entities" ... God is one. He is inseparable from himself and his creation. God is a principle, he is not flesh. People can do "Godly things", but we are not God. Any attempt to split or separate the deity from himself or his creation is idolatry pure and simple. God does not copulate with human beings.

I understand this-- I hope I can express it clearly...
NOT Three separate BUT THREE TOGETHER.
When God created MAN, He created him in HIS/God's image.
we were created with a spirit, emotions and a physical body. That is the unique trinity of a human.
Our BODY was created as a 'vessel'..... A 'thing' that has a 'place' in it to be filled (with SOMETHING)
Our SPIRIT is where God can join with us. It was the medium He uses to interconnect with us.
ie., I'll liken it to water- say we have a vessel and it has dirty water in it and God/pure water gets poured INTO it also... it intermingles- it's all together. The MORE God/pure water gets poured into it, the cleaner the 'dirty water' gets. (Study "LIVING WATER"... interesting stuff!!)
SECOND THOUGHT -
As I said, Our bodies are made up of the 1.physical, 2.emotional and a 3.spirit.
you CANNOT have life if all three of those are not there.
(You may say, people can be in a coma, which is the physical and spirit but no emotion. Is that living? It is living, breathing, brain functioning, but is that person what we would call, "living"? no, it is merely existing.)
When you see a dead body, you SEE that the spirit is gone. It LOOKS like the person but they look 'fake'... because their SPIRIT and emotions- that which was their essence- is not there.
So to understand the trinity, think of it in those terms--
We know God is holy. God is a "being" with more facets than man can comprehend. I'm only giving you what I CAN comprehend. God's SPIRIT can FILL OUR personal spirit BECAUSE He created us with that purpose.
THIRD THOUGHT
Jesus was God clothed in flesh.
Do you believe in God?
Really?
If God is GOD, COULD He clothe Himself in FLESH (if He is the CREATOR of flesh?) I say yes. Because His word says so... go back to the oldest texts available to man- they are STILL available to US TODAY!! Amazing. Truth with live forever. Because Truth is of God and it will never die. He gives us truth to help us. How EASY it is to find it... we cannot reason these things but in every instance He is proven.... to look to the magnificence of heaven and SEE the magesty of an AWESOME God and then for man to SEE then say, "There is no God"... doesn't change the facts. He is.

Kingdom of God
This may seem completely out of line with your post but to me- forget about everything but the bottom line.... all the rest is only distraction.
You talk about govermental, political 'stuff' ....
Jesus' kingdom was NOT of this world- it was a kingdom of the Spirit. THAT is what the Chosen People of God NEEDED. What ALL mankind has always needed! We were created FOR God!! But we forgot it along the way because of neglect, self love and a selfish will. We were made for God to be intermingled within us. So few remembered ... His truth to us was getting lost. So He needed something that would unite ALL EYES to one magnificient event .To this day, even the world's calendar is affected by it.
Jesus was God clothed in flesh... Jesus didn't WANT people to WORSHIP HIM... He was simply the WAY to God the Father. If you study the scriptures, His ministry was about POINTING people to God the Father. Just as Moses, David, John and so many other great men did.
On a different note, the Spirit of God was given to us by Jesus.... it was part of the NEW Covenant/Promise that came from the Father. Man did not have to DO all the rituals and purification processes to receive God's Spirit within his spirit- it was given by Jesus as a gift from the Father... not only for Jews but for Gentiles (like myself). What a gracious, wonderful God to include ME into His kingdom.
You are Jewish - a chosen race. You have writings that are sooo ancient and amazing to study. Because I KNOW God, I will encourage you to simply seek TRUTH. You know, there is so much available to you AND you understand it since it is part of your heritage/culture. Things I, as a Gentile, American woman, would have to study for years. It would be so EASY for you to find -- it is readily available.
I encourage you --- OPEN your heart, seek and you WILL find. If you're gutsy, you will ask GOD to SHOW you the truth. But THAT will take courage AND perserverance. IF you study your Jewish laws, then look at the life of Jesus Christ, you may see that He fullfilled and LIVED out ALL that God asked of him. If you're afraid to GO there, just follow after God and search for (and live out) the PURPOSE of the Laws of God... find the bottom line. The WHY of the law. The Kabbalah.
My studies have brought me personally to the sect of the Essenes AND also the Nazarene sect that Joesph, Mary and certainly Jesus were a part of. Study them. There are answers there. It WILL LEAD you to what God wants you to KNOW in the deepest depths of your heart and spirit. That is where God communes with us- that's what Jesus tried to teach during his time on this earth. As I said before and let me say again, his kingdom.was.not.of.this.world. it was spiritual in nature.
Study Orthodox Jewish teachings, then study writings of Messianic Jewish Rabbis. Do they all line up? Absolutely yes.
It is not watering DOWN of God's Law and teaching-- but 'following' the LAW got too much in the way of a PERSONAL relationship with JHVH God. We were created for that.... and we lost it along the way.
I hope you WILL search this out. Don't turn a blind eye and heart to the truth that is there for you to FIND -- pray. ask God to reveal HIS truth. fast. look into your spirit to find the God of your fathers. You have ALL the tools :)
